About Lindsay Rakers
From a young age, Lindsay found herself drawn to the practice of law and, specifically, the courtroom. Gifted with a natural desire to dig deep and get to the bottom of challenging issues, Lindsay always enjoyed debating with others to get to the truth. As she watched her grandfather serve as a highly regarded judge in the small town of Taylorville, Illinois, Lindsay knew that she wanted to become a lawyer.
Lindsay’s involvement with legal debate organizations started early and continued through her secondary education at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Subsequently, Lindsay’s passion for the law, coupled with her work ethic, helped her achieve her dream of graduating from the St. Louis University School of Law. Her training did not stop with obtaining her law degree. In 2016, Lindsay graduated from the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College, which required immeasurable hard work and countless hours to achieve. During her early years as a lawyer, Lindsay grew most interested in those cases involving personal injury.
Although she loves helping people in her law practice, Lindsay also enjoys life outside of work. She is an avid member of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society-Gateway Chapter, where she participates in the annual Light the Night Walk. In the past, Lindsay has volunteered her time to local victims of natural disasters. A mother of two daughters, Lindsay frequently finds herself watching swim meets, volleyball games, and local theater productions. She also enjoys cheering on her Fighting Illini, the Dallas Cowboys, and all St. Louis sports whenever she can.

A word from lindsay herself
I fight insurance companies. I won’t let you be bullied. I will stand up for you. Regardless of the type of injury you suffer, the insurance company will make many moves and decisions that are confusing. But one thing is clear – the insurance company is not looking out for you or your family. Instead, it wants to protect its bottom line. It will play games with you – it will try to trick you – it will do whatever it needs to do to prevent you from recovering for your injuries. It is extremely important to understand how the system works so that the insurance company doesn’t take advantage of you.
I know that an injury resulting from a car accident, a truck accident, or a fall can turn your life upside down. Along with the pain and suffering come medical expenses that add up quickly. Typically, the injury keeps you out of work and a paycheck. Your income stops, but the bills don’t. The legal process can be stressful for you and your family. An experienced Missouri and Illinois personal injury attorney will know how to handle your case in a way that is best for you. My practice focuses on your needs. I know what you are going through, and my goal is to make the process as easy as possible for you. While I handle cases like yours daily, I understand that this may be the only injury case you ever have. I will never treat your case as simply another file. We purposely keep our firm small and our client base manageable so that we can provide you the best representation. I guarantee my clients that our dedication is not a luxury; it is a right. At the end of your case, I measure my success not by the amount of money I recover for you, but whether you would give my name to others. By limiting my practice to personal injury cases only, I am experienced in cases just like yours.
